Brief


We revel in the opportunity to work with organisations who make positive change in the world. We had the opportunity to work with our friends at Borderless; who brought a sophisticated brief to the table. Create a website platform that was highly-accessible for tech savvy people 20-50, and allow them to participate in nationwide improvement to social change projects. The biggest challenge to the brief was generating a design that was interactive, simple and logical to the target audience.

Discovery


We explored art direction and UI/UX design that allowed for the highest degree of swiftness and effectiveness for the user; and reduce any confusion about how to begin, plan and fund a project of their choosing. The client wanted a framework that focused on illuminating resources and the opportunities to apply or provide funding. Additionally we explored creating a brand that had lightness, energy and passion for change. Both the Tool Kit platform and the brand identity needed to integrate seamlessly to maximise exposure for the philanthropic program that is the Social Change Toolkit.

Solution


We created a brand identity and website platform that has been described has effective, clever and inspirational for project creation and funding. Beyond the art direction of both the identity and the platform; we focused on creating a community for changemakers to communicate to ever person on the site - both supporters, creators and investors. Finally, due to the audience’s technical outlook - we made the projects downloadable - so at any stage of participation the user can export their progress to share, archive or distribute to the community in a project summary format. Overall, the project was a massive success - when you have a chance...take a look, it just might inspire you!
